All-Region Auditions
The Big Blue Band had several students make the Region 3 TMEA All-Region band this fall. They competed against thousands of students from Mesquite, Rockwall, Richardson, Forney, Garland, and the surrounding areas. FOR THE THIRD YEAR IN A ROW, North Mesquite had the most students selected from any of the 5A high schools in Mesquite, and the 2nd highest total in the district overall! GO BIG BLUE!!!

CONGRATS to Brianna Darnell for qualifying for the AREA audition in January where she will audition for a place in the 2010 All-State Band.
Frisco Contest
Congratulations to the Big Blue Band for placing 8th place in Prelims at the Centennial Marching Festival. After a shocking field entrance to finals, the band gave the best performance of the year! The band then moved up to 8th place after the Finals performance. Way to go BIG BLUE!!!!
