All-Region concerts begin this Friday night at Horn HS at 6:00 PM. Come support the numerous All-Region musicians playing the group from the North Mesquite Band!

We just found out yesterday afternoon that Morgan Hall (trumpet) is also going to be able to audition for the All-State band at Area auditions in January. This means that North Mesquite had four trumpets and a horn earn an audition for Area. Congrats!

All-Region auditions are this Saturday at Berkner HS in Richardson. Please see the Region Info packet HERE for information about the event and when your sign-in time is.
Remember that percussionists should be prepared to help load and unload equipment both before and after the Phase 1 audition.

Guys, make sure your bowtie and vest match if you are going to be festive for the Holiday concert. Remember that we only wear CONCERT BLACK for contests, though.

With marching season now at a close, we are transitioning into concert season. Each band will begin having sectionals and preparing concert music for our upcoming performances. It is still vital that each student is practicing daily to keep skills at a high level

Tonight is our first football game against Rowlett HS. Inspection will be in the band hall at 5:20 PM. Students should be in full uniform completely ready to go at 5:20 PM.
When the game is over, the trucks will be parked in the loading dock (the outside double doors). Students not involved in unloading those trucks will be asked to use the other two exits from the band hall. Please take care to avoid getting in the way of the unloading process.
Students will be told on the bus ride home when to be picked up. Please wait for your student in the front driveway of the school, but do not block traffic.

Parents, please plan to give your student 10-15 minutes before and after rehearsal to get equipment and materials ready or put away. This is also a great time to stretch out and fill up their water jugs. Thanks!
